The role of a pharmacy technician is mainly to assist the licensed pharmacist. There is really no end to learning. The more you learn the more it is required. Reference to books and making notes should be done regularly. It should be a practice.

Pharmacy technicians work at a variety of locations and places. Mainly they work at retail pharmacies, grocery stores, shopping malls, hospitals, mail-order pharmacies, clinics, and pharmaceutical wholesalers. Many also get government positions. As time passes, the role of a experienced pharmacy technician will change. They will be given more added responsibilities, such as pre-screening patients and establishing prognosis programs.

No one will like to take medicines from one who has dirty hands or unclean nails and hair. A pharmacy tech's personality should be very presentable, as the patients will carry an impression of the hospital where you work.
